Terms & Conditions buying car with credit card by Amwal

1 Service Definition

This option allows the customer to finance and pay for their car in installments through “Amwal,” one of the payment and financing partners integrated into the Carly platform, directly at checkout without leaving the platform. The financing and installment service is subject to Amwal’s terms and approval, as set out on this page.

2 Service Benefits

Up to 24 monthly installments: the purchase value can be split into a number of installments of up to 24.
Sharia-compliant: in accordance with Amwal’s approved product.
Pay at checkout: complete payment and installment setup directly from the checkout page inside Carly.
Fee transparency: the full installment breakdown and any costs are shown before confirming the transaction, with no hidden fees.

3 How It Works

The customer views their approved amount and Amwal’s financing options on the car details page.
The customer selects the “Pay with Amwal” option at checkout.
The installment is completed via a credit card accepted by Amwal.
The purchase value is split across the chosen number of installments (up to 24), with the details shown before confirmation.

Confirm: the exact cards/banks accepted by Amwal (Al Rajhi and Al Ahli were referenced previously), and any conditions on card type.

4 Contractual Relationship

The financing and installment service is provided by Amwal as an independent party, and the financing contractual relationship is established directly between the customer and Amwal. Carly only facilitates and integrates the service within the platform and is not a party to the financing agreement between the customer and Amwal.

All financing applications are subject to assessment and approval by Amwal in accordance with its policies and regulations.

Confirm: Amwal’s approved legal name and its licensing authority (Saudi Central Bank / relevant regulator), to state it accurately in the text.

5 Eligibility & Approval

Amwal determines the customer’s eligibility and approved amount based on its own assessment, and any transaction may be accepted or declined per Amwal’s policies. Carly does not guarantee the approval of any financing or installment application and is not responsible for an application being declined by Amwal.

Confirm: the minimum and maximum installment amount, and any general eligibility conditions that can be stated to the customer (without sensitive details).

6 Fees & Repayment

The full installment breakdown and any costs or profit margin from Amwal are shown to the customer before confirming the transaction. The customer commits to paying the installments on their due dates, and any late payment or default is subject to Amwal’s applicable terms.

Confirm: the fee/profit-margin structure of Amwal’s product and the late-payment terms, in a form suitable for display to the customer.

7 Data Privacy

When the customer chooses financing through Amwal, the data required to verify eligibility and complete the financing is shared with Amwal, in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) in the Kingdom and Carly’s approved privacy policy.

8 Carly Platform General Terms

8.1 150-Point Inspection

Every car at Carly undergoes a comprehensive 150-point inspection covering the engine, transmission, electrical systems, body, interior, and safety systems. A car is not listed for sale until it passes the inspection.

8.2 Warranty

The car carries a warranty for 12 months or 10,000 km (whichever comes first), with a maximum coverage of SAR 10,000. The warranty covers major mechanical failures and does not include cosmetic issues, wear-and-tear items, or modifications.

8.3 Return Policy

Carly offers the option to return the car within 7 days under specific conditions.

Note: the 7-day return policy applies to cash purchases only (and only if the additional distance driven does not exceed 50 km). Since purchases via Amwal are made through financing/installments, please confirm whether the return policy applies in this case, and state this clearly to the customer.

8.4 Pricing & VAT

All prices shown on Carly are inclusive of 15% Value Added Tax, with no surprise charges.

8.5 Delivery

Home delivery is available to the customer’s door across the regions of Saudi Arabia, with the ability to track delivery stages.

8.6 Ownership Transfer

Carly handles the car’s ownership transfer procedures in accordance with applicable regulations. The customer agrees to complete the required statutory steps to finalize the transfer.

9 Exclusions & Limitations

Availability of the service is subject to it being offered on the platform, and its terms may change or be discontinued without prior notice.
The “Pay with Amwal” option may not apply to all cars or all customers, per Amwal’s policies and assessment.
Carly and Amwal reserve the right to amend, suspend, or end the service terms at any time without prior notice.
Any fraudulent use of the service or use in violation of these terms forfeits the customer’s right to benefit from it.

10 General Provisions

These terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the applicable laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the Saudi judicial authorities have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
In the event of any conflict between the Arabic version and any translation of it, the Arabic version prevails.
A customer’s use of the service constitutes acknowledgment that they have read and accepted these terms and conditions, in addition to Amwal’s own financing terms.
