MILAN, Fiat is expanding its North American footprint with the launch of the Topolino. A two-seat, ultra-compact electric vehicle priced starting at $13,995. Weighing just over 1,000 pounds and measuring roughly 8 feet in length. The mini-EV initially targets closed environments such as private gated communities, golf courses, and resorts, carrying an initial top speed capped at 19 mph.

To increase utility, the Stellantis-owned brand announced that a specialized kit will be available by late summer. The upgrade transitions the Topolino into a federally regulated Low-Speed Vehicle (LSV). Raising its maximum speed to 25 mph and legally opening up access to designated public roads.

The vehicle is equipped with a 5.4-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery that delivers a range of up to 46 miles (74 km). It requires approximately five hours for a complete charge. Named after Fiat’s iconic 1930s model, popularly nicknamed “Topolino,” the Italian name for Mickey Mouse. This new EV joins the larger 500e city car in Fiat’s growing regional electric lineup.
